Who we are
Top Discounts (https://www.top-discounts.com) is operated from the United States and written by the Top Discounts Editorial Team. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@top-discounts.com.
What we collect
- Server logs: our web host keeps standard logs that record your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.
- Contact messages: if you use the contact form, your message is emailed to our editorial inbox, and we do not use the form data for anything else.
We do not sell products, so we collect no payment details. There are no user accounts, paid memberships or newsletter, and comments are turned off. The site does not show display ads at the moment.
Why we collect it and how long we keep it
Server logs help with security and with fixing technical problems. Contact messages let us read and answer you. We keep this information for as long as it serves those purposes, and we do not sell personal information.
Search Console and cookies
We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search. It does not place cookies on your browser. The site itself sets no analytics cookies at the moment.
Affiliate links are different. When you click one, the store or network may set its own cookie to credit the referral. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Affiliate links and other sites
We earn commissions through links to Amazon, as described in the Affiliate Disclosure. Amazon has its own privacy policy. So does each of the other sites our pages link to. We do not control how they handle your data, so read their policies before sharing information.
Who can see it
Our web host can access the logs it keeps, and the Top Discounts Editorial Team reads messages sent to the editorial inbox. We do not share your information with others unless the law requires it.
What we do not do
- We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.
- We do not make automated decisions about you.
- We do not ask you for more information than a message needs.
Because the site has no accounts and no analytics cookies of its own, the information described above is all we hold about visitors.
Children
Top Discounts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, email privacy@top-discounts.com and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live in the United States, state privacy laws may give you the right to ask what personal information a business holds about you and to request deletion. To make a request, email privacy@top-discounts.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information and rely on our web host for server security. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.
Changes
If our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also the Terms of Service.
