Respect for copyright

Top Discounts respects copyright and asks the same of everyone who contacts us. If you think material on this site infringes a copyright you own or control, you can ask us to remove it under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Sending a takedown notice

Email your notice to legal@top-discounts.com. A valid notice includes each of the following.

  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
  • The address (URL) on Top Discounts where the material appears.
  • Your contact details, including your name and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, made under penalty of perjury, and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

After we receive a valid notice

The Top Discounts Editorial Team reviews each complete notice. If it is valid, we remove the material or disable access to it. We may tell the person who posted it, and we may share your notice with them. If a notice is missing required items, we may ask you for more information before acting.

Counter-notices

If you think we removed material by mistake or because it was misidentified, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Include the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was an error, and your contact details and signature. We may pass the counter-notice to the original complainant.

Repeat infringers

In suitable cases, we may restrict or end access for anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.
