JLM HID Conversion review:
HID Xenon lights are intended to be at least three times lighter and last ten times longer than halogen lights. HID produces supreme light output drivers with greater visibility, so promotes increased comfort and safer night time driving condition. HID also consumes 35% less power and generates less heat throughout operation. Motorcycles and automobiles now use a twelve Volt electrical system for their headlamps. HID lighting systems require over 20,000 volts to ignite the bulbs. Once lit, they only require twelve volts to keep running.
