Eagle Creek UnderCover trade Deluxe Security Belt reviews:
Rating: It’s just what you need.
I bought this security belt for a trip to Costa Rica. The belt was comfy. The strap is easily adjustable for your waist. The belt held passports, money, and credit cards. I greatly recommend it.
Rating: Money belt
Worked well on recent trip to Europe. Long enough for train tickets. I wore inside my pants with the zippers just above the waistband pulled my shirt up somewhat to access it without exposing skin.
Rating: Great money belt
I used this for three weeks in the Philippines. It’s light weight and a perfect size. I tried alot of others in the stores before I found this one. It has two zipper pockets and a semi waterproof inside. The contents stayed dry for me in the high humity over there.
Rating: Perfect
I carried this in the Philippines for three weeks. I kept the credit cards and big sums of foriegn currency in it. The inside stayed dry and it was wet over there. You may want to hand wash it before use to get the color or chemicals out? I got a small rash right below the BB the 1st week, but it cleared up and no more problems. As for the long strap, I doubled it over and sewed the extra together, no problem. It may be cut, but I opted to just sew it.
Very light and nicely constructed. It has two pouches with zippers on both. I looked around alot and this is the best!

I wore the Eagle Creek UnderCover Security Belt while traveling in Nepal, unfortunately while I trekked on foot, I has been stopped by mountain bandits. Since most of them are smart and exhibiting knowledge, they searched me and I had to take off all my clothes, whereas they discovered the Eagle Creek UnderCover Security Belt.
So, it does not generally work.
In cases like that, you are better off trying to “hide” money by sewing double pockets into dirty old socks or befouled underpants and using brown or red paint to imitate a “mess” to keep bandits away from snooping any closer. I also hid my money in an old tree bark inside a plastic jug where I kept a toxic snake I found, bandits stopped me some times but did not dare to annoy the toxic snake.
In India I had a local taxidermist Taxidermy is the art of mounting or reproducing dead animals for display or for other resources of study clean and stuff a dead rat I had found and he made me a dead rat “wallet” in which I hid my money. It worked well till it was stolen by a hungry, feral cat.
Or you may be able to read Papillon to see where French penal colony inmates hid their money.
The Eagle Creek UnderCover Security Belt is really for the tourist, but it does not generally work, particularly if you’re naked, as is the custom in hot tropic climates.
